Strawberry Guava Syrup
Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Servings Per Recipe: 10
2 pints strawberries, sliced
2 cups Sun Tropics Guava Nectar
3 tablespoons cane sugar
1 lemon, zest and juice
- In a medium saucepan, heat all ingredients over medium high. Let simmer until mixture begins to thicken and the sugar is dissolved. About 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and place in a blender. Blend on high until smooth. Use caution as mixture will remain hot.
- Place a mesh strainer over a bowl and pour in strawberry guava mixture. Stir until all liquid remains in bowl. Let cool completely.
- Serve on top of favorite dessert. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
