Sinigang

SINIGANG

4 cups water

4 Tbsp SunTropics Pure Calamansi

4 Tbsp Fish Sauce (Patis)

2 tsp sea salt

1 yellow onion, quartered

3 stalks green onion, cut in 3” length

3 tomatoes, quartered

2 bangus belly or prawns

6 ps long beans, cut into 3” length

1 eggplant, cut diagonally, 1.5” length

6 ps okra, tops cut off

 

  1. Heat water in large pot under high heat.
  2. Add onion, green onions and tomatoes.
  3. Add fish sauce, salt,  and Pure Calamansi.
  4. Boil until tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add bangus or shrimp, long beans, eggplant, and okra.
  6. Boil.
  7. Add SunTropics Pure Calamansi to taste (approx. 2Tbsp).
  8. Serve with rice.
