Sauteed Tofu & Sugar Peas

SAUTEED TOFU & SUGAR PEAS

2 SERVINGS

 

You will need:

1/2 lb tofu, fried

½ lb sugar peas, dressed

2 tbsp Sun Tropics Pure Calamansi

2 tbsp soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped

1 shallot, roughly chopped

½ tsp black pepper

¼ cup water

3 tbsp vegetable oil

 

Procedure:

  1. Deep fry tofu and drain on paper towels or check with your local Asian markets.  Usually, they carry tofu that has already been fried.
  2. Heat oil on a medium saute pan over high heat.  Saute garlic and shallots until soft and translucent.
  3. Add water and soysauce.
  4. Toss in sugar peas and tofu.  Stir and cover.  Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until sugar peas are bright green and al dente.
  5. Serve immediately.
