Grilled Spareribs in Mango Marinade

Mouthwatering and tender caramelized pork ribs grilled to perfection

2 cups SunTropics Mango Nectar

6 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

3 tbsp worcestershire sauce

4 tbsp soy sauce

3 tbsp rice wine / white wine

3 tsp finely chopped lemon peel

salt and pepper

2 lbs. pork spareribs

  1. Combine the SunTropics Nectar, garlic, honey, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, wine, and lemon peel in a saucepan.  Cook over medium low heat and let boil.  Then, simmer until mixture thickens.  Season with salt and pepper.  Set aside to cool.
  2. Marinate meat in the cooked mixture for 30 minutes.  Leave ½ cup of the mixture for basting.
  3. Season the meat with salt and pepper.  Grill for 10-15 minutes each side, or until ribs are cooked and the sauce has caramelized.  While grilling, baste with remaining marinade.
  4. Serve hot with a fresh salad and corn on the cob.
