Chicken Adobo

CHICKEN ADOBO

½ c soy sauce

6 Tbsp SunTropics Pure Calamansi

1 head garlic, peeled & crushed

3 ½ Tbsp brown sugar

1 ½ lbs chicken pieces, cleaned

Dash of black pepper

1 bay leaf

 

  1. Mix soy sauce, Pure Calamansi, garlic, and brown sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Marinade chicken pieces in mixture.  Refrigerate for 30-60 min (overnight if time permits).
  3. Boil chicken in marinade under high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and continue boiling for more 30 minutes.
  5. Serve with rice.
